The Project is a 95,267 m2 mixed use development comprising, 32 story hotel tower, 28 story residential tower, 21 story office tower & 20,000 m2 podium for commercial use.

TPE Consulting Engineers has secured the contract to provide Marine Engineering Consultancy to the Department of Agricultural, Fisheries, and Food, Ireland  to design the refurbishment works of the steel mooring piles in An Daingean Marina, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

This contract will include inspection diving of the existing piles by Norfolk Marine Ltd to survey the integrity of the existing steel piles and foundations, followed by the design of cost-effective remedial solutions that can be installed in the off-peak season.

 
Thomond Park Takes Top Award

TPE Consulting Engineers were awarded the 2010 ACEI Excellence in Design Award at a recent function in the Four Season's Hotel in Dublin. The project involved the transformation of the 'Home of Munster Rugby' into a 26,000 capacity stadium which doubled its capacity.

The distinctive 150m clear span roof structure has quickly become an iconic feature on the Irish landscape. The award was presented to the Managing Director John Pollock of TPE by the President of the ACEI, Mr John Lombard. Also present was Mr Terry Sheehan, Director of TPE.

 
Oman Distribution Centre Contract Signed

TPE and their logistics design partners Ashton Smith Associates today signed a contract with the leading Oman logistics company Al Madinah Logistics for the design of a new 170,000 sq-ft temperature controlled distribution centre in Barka in Muscat.

 

The state of the art multi chamber facility provides the Al Madinah with a low energy solution that maximises capacity and minimises the capital and operational costs giving significantly reduced whole life costs as well. TPE and ASA are providing the client with a sustainable review as part of their standard service.

 

The project is being delivered on a fast track programme with initial tender packages being issued within eight weeks of appointment.
