|Lucey Transport Logistics Distribution Centre, Dublin|
TPE Consulting Engineers have extensive experience in the design and construction in the specialist area of distribution centres for multiple clients. Lucey Transport Logistics appointed TPE as both project managers and civil and structural engineers on this project. Our brief was to deliver a building that was constructed to the highest standard but also flexible enough in design to allow either single occupancy or divided up into four individual units, each unit functioning independently. Provision for a future mezzanine floor was also included.

Phase 1 consisted of the construction of a 10,000m2 distribution warehouse split into two separate units. The required long spans were achieved in steel portal frame construction. The dividing wall and end walls were constructed using Ranilla structural panels allowing them to be removed to accommodate a single occupier in the future. The 7,500m2 Phase 2 commenced mid-way through Phase 1. An external vehicle maintenance unit, ancillary buildings, yard slabs and associated site works were also completed as part of the works.
