|Pembroke Hill, Wexford|
TPE Consulting Engineers were employed as Civil Engineers on the project at Pembroke Hill, Wexford from conception to completion of the works in January 2008. We also acted as Project Supervisor Design Phase on the project.
The works were required to facilitate development of a 36 hectare site in Wexford and included the realignment of roads to allow for an improved junction in the form of a 32.0m ICD 4-arm roundabout.
In addition, a new 50.0m ICD 3-arm roundabout was located on another realigned portion of road to the north of the site and forms the main access junction into the development.
To facilitate construction of the roundabouts and realignment of the road it was necessary to culvert 4 sections of the Bishop’s Water Stream. The culverts were typically 3.5m wide x 1.6m deep and the culverts varied in length from 35.0m to 70.0m.
